Dora Đurkesac is an artist working at the intersection of contemporary dance, intermedia art, and design research. She explores how body-minds are shaped and choreographed by toxic culture, chemical and material realities and explores pathways to emancipation through emotional, embodied and collective poetic efforts. By practicing the ‘anatomy of encounters’ and ‘rehearsing ecosystems‘, she traces the relations between the systems and individual, organic and synthetic, human and beast, intuition and cognition. Her work brings together digital, tangible, audible, and performative elements to create spatial installations and experiences.
